I'm new to overclocking and I figured I'd try XMP profile 1 (Asus validated) to get the most out of my installed ram, figuring it would be a pretty safe way to test some simple overclocking. My cpu is the intel i9-12900KS.įor the last week I've been running my new pc build normally with no XMP profiles enabled or overclocking of any kind and things have been working great, low temps, all my games working very well. I'm currently running 4 sticks of (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6400 G.Skill Trident Z5 CL 32-39-39-102 on the z690 hero and am wondering if 2 sticks of ram would be better for performance/stability or if 4 sticks simply require more patience and tuning to reach the full 6400 clock. IMPORTANT A Bullet's Card 4 will increase the waves to 10. Note: Shoots 5 homing waves instead of 2, and the waves have doubled homing range. Note: An upgraded Bazooka, dealing more damage with a higher usage cost. Note: An upgraded Laser Gun, which shoots slightly slower projectiles. The flames produced spread a bit less and is redder in colour, but still lasts for 2s and deals splash damage. It is recommended to use damage increasing methods, such as equipping a Yellow Crystal to defeat tough bosses with this gun. Note: An upgraded Rifle, maintaining the same range. This weapon, again, has a wide range attack like what most Thunder type weapons have. It can be considered as an upgraded version of the Shotgun. The bullets move very quickly and act like the Spark Glove's magic attack when they hit the ground, but they only travel in the direction they were fired from. Equipping a Bullet's Card 3 will increase the spread and the amount of pellets to 12. Note: Seven bullets are shot and spread in front of the Gunner. Investing SP into MAG or equipping a Blue Stone 3 or higher is highly recommended to reduce the cost. Note: This weapon has triple the damage and shooting cost of Submachine-gun. Unlike most weapons with the Thunder type, it does not have a minimum AT of 1. A Topaz can be helpful, as does a Pierce's Card and a Bullet's Card. Equipping a Guide's Card will improve the homing range. With an innate homing range of 50, the projectiles home as if there was an added Guide's Card 5. Note: It shoots two wave beams, that, unlike the Laser Gun, do not penetrate enemies or walls. A high level Catapult's Card is not recommended as the bullet is affected by gravity, and it will fall to the ground before it reaches an enemy. When the bullet hits an enemy or the ground, six brown dust clouds are released, which head in random directions and cause damage multiple times. Before ver3.6 BETA, this gun was named the "Railgun". Despite the beam lasting for 4s, a Garnet is useless for this weapon, unless a Guide's Card is used to help the beam stay in the screen. Adding a Guide's Card will make it home on the enemy, causing more damage. Note: Fires a laser that pierces, deals splash damage, and will always go as far as the screen border. A Ruby is highly recommended to help increase its AT. Note: Fires a grenade in a small arc that deals Physical damage, and splits off into four flames on impact with an enemy or the ground which lasts for 2s and deals splash damage. Add a Catapult's Card and it will shoot even further. Note: Has a longer range than other guns and it has a longer bullet that resembles that of a real rifle. This gun's AT is wide-ranged like most Thunder type weapons. The bullets act like the Spark Glove's magic attack when it hits the ground, but they only travel in the direction it was fired from. A Bullet's Card 2 will add 2 extra pellets to each shot. Note: Five bullets are shot and spread in front of the Gunner. This gun is the fastest gun along with the Uzis. Investing SP into MAG or equipping a Blue Stone 1 is highly recommended to reduce the cost. Note: Due to the high shooting frequency, this gun is more expensive to manage than the Gun or Handgun. This is the first gun with a shooting cost. Nevertheless, it can be used to generate free and efficient knockback with a Knockback's Card 4 and a Quick's Card 5/7. However, for far later in the game, once enemies start dropping larger and larger amounts of gold, and the Gunner's MAG has increased sufficiently, this may not be a worthwhile reason to hang onto this weapon. Although this is the weakest gun in the game, it is strongly recommended to keep it as a backup (even when better weapons are found) in case the player runs out of gold. There are no shooting costs that apply to this gun. Shortswords have a very limited range and attack with a horizontal stabbing motion instead of an arc, while Broadswords are swung overhead, which makes it easier to defeat flying and jumping enemies than shortswords.Note: Starting weapon. Swords are melee weapons which can be divided into 2 basic categories: Shortswords, and Broadswords. Overall, whether it's for a buddy or yourself, CCleaner is certainly a must-have system utility for all PC users. I always get a thanks afterwards, but the thanks should go to the guys at Piriform for such a lightweight, simple, yet powerful program that lives up to the task. If ever I have a buddy who complains above a slow start up or even just a sluggish experience on their PC, I always download CCleaner and run it for them. One note about drive scrubbing, the more passes you select, the longer it will take to complete the task. Drive scrubbing can also be limited to free space on the system. There are different levels of wiping the drive and even a 1-pass will get the job done if you're not hiding something too important. A 'Gutmann' 35-pass wipe of the hard drive will really get in deep and remove traces of files which once existed. You can choose to do a 1-pass 'scrubbing' or more. It removes all data from a selected hard drive. Not only can it remove references to unused libraries (DLLs), but it also removes references to non-existent programs and fonts, it cleans up installer issues, activex issues and more.Īnother wicked tool is the hard drive wiping tool. Much more important in our opinion than cleaning up Internet files is its powerful registry cleaner. it goes without saying.ĬCleaner will empty your recycling bin, backup the registry before 'cleaning' it and overall speed up your Windows experience. It cleans up temporary internet files, history, cookies and other junk left behind by hours of web surfing.
